摘要: Colletotrichum gloeosporioides is the casual agent of disease known as anthracnose. This fungus infects a wide range hosts during pre and postharvest stages various horticultural commodities. To date, chitosan natural biodegradable compound, chitin derivative, has been tested in control pathogenic microorganisms. In this research, fungicidal or fungistatic potential with different degrees polymerization (low, medium high molecular weight) concentrations (0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0%) was evaluated on vitro development two isolates C. obtained from infected papaya fruit states Veracruz Guerrero, Mexico. The effect conidial morphology also observed by image analysis. Results showed no difference pattern among three types applied. There higher concentration increased. varied according to treated isolate. Overall, sporulation variable most affected compound for both isolates. A hundred percent germination when conidia were re-incubated potato-dextrose-agar disks significant inhibition directly solutions. area chitosan-treated well. future studies, it proposed carry out more depth research including use electronic scanning microscopy, tests evaluation prepared methodologies.
