摘要: Within the EU-27 CO2 emissions for transport increased by almost one-third between 1990 and 2008. This plainly shows that sector continually raises its contribution to environmental pollution. Against this background EU-Project Supporting EU’s Freight Transport Logistics Action Plan on Green Corridors Issues (SuperGreen) aims at promoting an environmentally sound development of European goods transport. For purpose, project explores how freight corridors within Europe can be arranged in a more sustainable way. As one approach determines which role smarter use ICTs thereby play. The present paper describes motivation behind approach, explains research strategy provides first results harvested after year activities. are, example, routing planners, weather-information tools or tracking tracing applications. These systems enable efficient utilisation resources simplified management supply chain. Consequently, their application affords reduction thus accomplishes greener transports. Beyond, non-environmental attributes such as costs, time reliability are improved well. In order exploit great potential benefit SuperGreen objective, starts broad collection logistics ICTs. second step, single nodes edges predefined tested weaknesses concerning exploitation resources.
