摘要: This paper explores the positive aspects of collaboration in natural resources. Its purpose was to investigate participants' overall attitudes about keys successful collaboration. The sample for study consisted 671 participants involved 30 collaborative initiatives (CI) with Forest Service. Using a mailed questionnaire, this profiled investigating purpose, problems addressed, groups involved, and years existence. Respondents were queried on their perspectives A total more than 300 comments collected from respondents six categories emerged: development, information exchange, organizational support, personal communication, relationships/team building, accomplishments. Continued research will need explore short- long-term impacts
