Incidence of soft-tissue cancers in blacks and whites in New York State.

摘要: Incidence rates for several histologic types of soft-tissue cancers were compared between black and white residents New York State during 1976-81, using data from the population-based Cancer Registry. leiomyosarcoma, neurofibrosarcoma malignant neurolemmoma higher blacks than whites in almost all age groups. Black-white differences mesenchymoma, while not statistically significant, similar to those other studies. There was no evidence black-white certain (e.g., blood-vessel cancers, lymphangiosarcoma). leiomyosarcoma included uterus females, stomach both sexes. Possible explanations these cancer incidence discussed, along with comparisons limited on populations Africa.
