摘要: There is disclosed a double-focusing mass spectrometer in which ions are generated from sample microwave-induced or inductively-coupled plasma (3). Ions sampled the (3) through an aperture sampling cone (19) and pass skimmer (28) several electrostatic lenses (30, 33) to entrance slit of analyzer. The maintained by power supply (40) at potential approximately equal accelerating required It found that may be such value substantial proportion have energies lying within energy passband analyzer, so high sensitivity, resolution especially suitable for elemental analysis solid liquid samples provided. Such capable resolving many spectral interferences restrict usefulness conventional quadrupole based spectrometers.
