摘要: Abstract Two new coumarin derivatives, 3-[3-(4-formylphenyl)prop-2-enoyl]-coumarin (FEC) and 4-hydroxy-3-[3-(4-formylphenyl)prop-2-enoyl]-coumarin (HFEC), were synthesized characterized by MS, 1H NMR, FT-IR, TG. The UV–vis absorption photoluminescence (PL) of FEC HFEC also studied. Results show that the two compounds exhibit high fluorescence quantum yields, large Stokes shifts, strong blue emissions. molecular structures, lowest energy transitions, resonance frequencies, spectra calculated using density functional theory (DFT) time-dependent (TD-DFT) at B3LYP/6-31G(d) level.
