摘要: This study assesses the relative prognostic value of increased left ventricular (LV) mass compared with residual ischemic myocardium and angiographic characteristics diseased vessel in 76 patients uncomplicated acute myocardial infarction associated 1-vessel coronary artery disease (CAD). All underwent symptom-limited treadmill exercise testing, resting dipyridamole echocardiography angiography before discharge, were followed-up for 32 ± 6 months. LV measurements obtained diastole according to Penn convention. Measurements divided by body surface area obtain index. A cut-off 135 g/m2 men 112 women was prospectively selected. The individual effects clinical, stress testing anglographic variables evaluated using Cox regression model. Echocardiographic index 43 normal 33. There no intergroup difference respect baseline clinical variables, ejection fraction prevalence stress-induced ischemia. During follow-up there 23 cardiac events only 5 33 :Mass (p <0.001). No patient died or had nonfatal reirrfarction among mass. survival analysis identified an as independent predictor (chisquare = 7.9; p < 0.005; RR 5.4). Thus, these data suggest that is important risk factor CAD.
