摘要: AIM: The study objective was to cross-sectionally examine the relationships among leisure-time, household, and occupational physical activity with functions in Japanese older adults. METHODS: We randomly enrolled 189 community-dwelling adults, aged 65 85 years, as subjects from Basic Resident Register of Kasama City, Ibaraki prefecture. Physical assessed by Activity Scale for Elderly. Analysis covariance performed determine between functions, after adjustment age sex. RESULTS: Leisure-time significantly correlated one-leg balance eyes open, sit reach, timed standing test along sitting position on floor, functional 5-repetition sit-to-stand, up go, 5-m habitual walk, choice stepping reaction time, power sit-to-stand tests.
