摘要: Specific immune cognition and recognition are intrinsic capacities of mature, immunocompetent lymphocytes. B T lymphocyte populations can both be shown to display this ability with high discriminatory power. At the single-cell level, however, lymphocytes express antigen-binding receptors extreme restriction (Raff et al., 1973; Binz Wigzell, 1975a). It would seem likely that in fact all for antigen on a single 1973) or (Binz 1975a) same specificity. When compared respect their capacity react against various epitopes, largely overlapping spectra antigenic specificities found (Rajewsky Mohr, 1974). Comparable mechanisms generation diversity at level cells thus logical economical. Whereas biochemistry underlying genetics B-cell by now relatively well understood, considerably less is known T-cell system.
