摘要: The effects of methionine on carcinogenesis and tumor development have been studied intermittently for over 35 years. These studies generally shown that confers some degree protection against the liver tumors by hepatocarcinogens. Such protective supplemental dietary are more pronounced in animals fed methionine- choline-deficient diets rather than choline-adequate diets. To date few if any observed formation extrahepatic tissues. hepatocarcinogenesis appear to correlate well with its content S-adenosylmethionine, chief physiologic methyl donor. Perturbation pool is known alter extent methylation membrane phospholipids, RNA, DNA. Thus several plausible mechanisms which may modify carcinogenic process center upon aberrant macromolecules.
