摘要: Synthesis of nanostructures from naturally available and easily accessible natural minerals is a growing area research. It would be beneficial if nanotechnology exploited for the value addition inadequately utilized aforementioned minerals. Calcium carbonate can employed in industrial products to improve their mechanical other functional properties. In this study, citrate ion template-based method was synthesis precipitated calcium occurring calcite with different morphologies sizes. For characterization synthesized materials, X-ray Diffraction, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, Thermal Gravimetric Analysis, Scanning Electron Microscopic analysis were used. “Grain” like structure observed while nanoparticles using surfactant-citrate exhibited surface morphology which spherical nature. The particle size 70–80 nm surfactant/citrate dimensions 90 × 300 nm. Owing simplicity cost-effectiveness, novel synthesizing feasible approach.
