摘要: We studied the habitat of polecat at different scales in a low density area. For this purpose we gathered data on presence species and characterised them by location, home range landscape scales. Polecats selected areas high diversity close to, but not in, streams whilst avoiding intensively managed conifer plantations dense urban areas. Variables determining presence/absence were found scales, which implies that management conservation practices for should be aimed mainly scale. Finally, our results agree with previously published works, validate GIS-based approaches as tool carnivore scarce or cases rare species.
