摘要: Gastric cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide. Complete resection offers the only chance for permanent control, and accurate staging evaluation treatment response are crucial appropriate management. Positron Emission Tomography (PET) increasingly used to complement anatomic imaging in PET use gastric has been limited by 1) some histologies not avid, 2) spatial resolution limits ability distinguish between primary tumor compartment I or II lymph nodes, 3) lack unified criteria how interpret management decisions. New have proposed establishing metrics utilization PET. More study needed support these routine practice establish place cancer.
