摘要: Background/Aims: Notch signaling pathway regulates cancer cell growth. RBPJ is a key transcription factor downstream of receptor activation, whereas the role in carcinogenesis prostate ill-defined. Methods: Here, we evaluated effects inhibition on growth cells. We knocked down cells by short hairpin interfering RNA (shRNA). measured an MTT assay. analyzed levels cell-cycle-associated proteins Western blot. Results: found that shRNA for efficiently inhibited expression cells, resulting significant decrease Further, RBPJ-mediated cell-growth appeared to be from alteration cell-cycle inhibitors p21 and p27, activators CDK2, CDK4 CyclinD1, apoptosis-suppressor Bcl-2. Conclusion: Our data suggest intervention could promising therapeutic approach treating human cancer.
