摘要: Abstract To understand the mechanism of HIVmediated neuropathology five viral isolates were obtained from four AIDS cases with central nervous system manifestations as primary involvement. The identified HIVs by antigenic cross-reactivity and nucleic acid hybridisations to HIV-specific antibodies DNA probes. replication cytopathic properties these studied compared lymphadenopathy-associated virus (HIV LAV ). All had competence equivalent LAV, but did not kill T4 (CD-4) cells. This isolation non-cytocidal natural variants HIV raises possibility that in some neurological disorders might be due are results also indicate cytotoxicity always concordant functions HIV.
