摘要: Infections of sheep with the gastrointestinal nematode Teladorsagia circumcincta are characterised by increased concentrations IgA, eosinophilia and mastocytosis but interactions between these immune responses unclear. We investigated kinetics parasite-specific IgA eosinophil in controlled infections lambs to determine if there were any associations subsequent worm growth survival. had very similar variation both accounted for more adult length than either trait alone suggesting that eosinophils interact regulating T. circumcincta. Curiously, those animals higher peak longer worms at slaughter emphasising intriguing complexity parasitic infections.
