摘要: AIM: To examine the aberrant expression of fragile histidine triad (FHIT) gene and protein in gastric cancer, to evaluate role FHIT relationship between EBV infection carcinogenesis. METHODS: transcripts were detected by nested RT-PCR 30 cases cancer their products sequenced. was Western blot. PCR method 50 cancer. RESULTS: The wild type all matched normal tissues cancer. Aberrant found 11/30 (36.7%) cancerous tissues. Sequencing analysis fragments an product missing exons 5-7 one case another 4-7. Four ten (40.0%) primary showed absent or decreased as compared with 5/50 (10%) cancers, among which 4/5 (80%) had gene. CONCLUSION: Loss plays important carcinogenesis, development progression might influence carcinogenesis inducing abnormality gene.
