摘要: Purpose: The purpose of this review was to present an analysis the literature outcome studies reported in patients following traumatic upper-extremity (UE) nerve injuries (excluding amputation), assess presence association between neuropathic pain and UE injuries, provide recommendations for inclusion more comprehensive measures by clinicians who treat these patients. Summary Key Points: A Medline CINAHL search retrieved 48 articles. This identified very few with peripheral injury that pain. When reported, visual analogue or numeric rating scales were most frequently used; standardized questionnaires measuring psychosocial function rarely administered. Recent evidence shows substantial long-term disability injury. Recommendation: To better understand injury, future should include valid, reliable physical impairment, pain, disability, health-related quality life, functioning.
