摘要: Oxidative stress, associated with a variety of disorders including neurodegenerative diseases, is major cause cellular dysfunction and biomolecule damages which play crucial role in neuronal apoptosis. Astrocytes specifically synthesize release endozepines, family regulatory peptides, the octadecaneuropeptide ODN. We have recently shown that ODN potent glioprotective agent prevents hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)-induced oxidative stress The purpose present study was to investigate potential protective effect on oxidative-generated damage biomolecules cultured rat astrocytes. Incubation cells subnanomolar concentrations (0.1fM-0.1nM) inhibited H2O2-evoked reactive oxygen species accumulation cell death concentration-dependent manner. Exposure H2O2-treated 0.1nM superoxide anion generation blocked molecules caused by H2O2i.e. formation lipid oxidation products, malondialdehydes conjugated dienes, protein carbonyl compounds. Taken together, these data demonstrate for first time stress-induced alteration constituents. thus candidate reduce various pathological conditions involving neurodegeneration.
