摘要: The phaC1 gene from Pseudomonas oleovorans, coding for the Pha-C1 polymerase, was introduced into potato genome. Transgenic callus and plant lines which transcribed translated transgene were selected cell suspension cultures wild type transgenic established. substrate 3-(R)-hydroxyoctanoate, provided to growth medium. In lines, but not in or without expression, evidence of medium-chain-length polyhydroxyalkanoate accumulation ranging 0.02 9.7 mg polymer per gram dry weight observed after feeding medium substrate.
