摘要: Steroid hormone biosynthesis by the fetal adrenal gland is crucial to integrity and continuation of pregnancy, growth maternal tissues, as well perinatal homeostatic adaptation for extrauterine survival. The cortex in primate undergoes a remarkable morphological functional remodeling such that transforms into an adult capable independent glucocorticoid mineralocorticoid biosynthesis. This architectural transition from ensures self-sufficient existence neonate.
