摘要: Abstract Plasma electrolytic oxidation coatings were formed in alkaline silicate electrolyte on Zircaloy-2. The evolution of the types discharges, microstructures, phase compositions and corrosion resistance studied by real time imaging, SEM, XRD, electrochemical tests. Characteristic solidification structures revealed PEO coatings, formation is related to long lasting discharges during process very low thermal conductivity zirconium oxide. Thermal effect content affect coatings.
