摘要: To gain insight into liver regenerationmechanisms in fulminant hepatic failure, we comparedgene expression of hepatocyte growth factor, itsreceptor c-met, c-myc, and albumin human normal (4cases) (14 cases) livers by reversetranscription-polymerase chain reaction. In normallivers, factor gene was not expressed, whereas c-myc genes were always expressed. failure, hepatocyte expressed 1 14cases, c-met none 14 cases, 10 3 cases. Byimmunofluorescence, protein revealed but infulminant failure tissue. Liver tissue isunlikely to account for high factorplasma levels typical failure. Lack its receptor (c-met)expression may explain a poor response fulminanthepatic exogenous growthfactor that normally promotes andregeneration.
