摘要: Health care workers who have occupational exposure to blood are at increased risk for acquiring blood-borne infections. The level of depends on the number patients with that infection in health facility and precautions observe while dealing these patients. There more than 20 diseases, but those primary significance hepatitis due either B virus (HBV) or C (HCV) acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) human (HIV). prevalence HBsAg healthy donors Saudi Arabia ranges from 2.7% 9.8%. Sero-prevalence studies suggest overall anti-HCV positivity is about 3.5% 5%. Thalassemia sickle cell disease common antibodies among this high-risk group 40%.
