摘要: The long arm of chromosome 8 is one the most common regions amplification in cancers several organs, especially carcinomas breast and prostate. TRPS1, MYC EIF3S3 genes are located minimal amplification, 8q23–q24, have been suggested to be target amplification. Here, our goal was study copy number expression three order investigate significance prostate cancer. By using fluorescence situ hybridisation (FISH), we first found that TRPS1 were amplified together about one-third hormone-refractory carcinomas. Next, analysed mRNA by real-time quantitative RT–PCR gene FISH six five cancer cell lines. Breast line, SK-Br-3, which contained highest all genes, showed overexpression only EIF3S3. Finally, levels measured freshly frozen clinical samples benign hyperplasia (BPH), as well untreated carcinoma. similar tumour groups, whereas higher (P=0.029) compared BPH. data suggest increased cancer, mechanisms underlying gene.
