摘要: This study uses land measurements from the continuous global positioning system (GPS) covering Gorgan Plain in northern Iran, over period 2006–2016. The show long-term displacements of about 84 cm downward, 17 cm northward, and 26 cm eastward relative to International Terrestrial Reference Frame, seasonal amplitudes 25.19, 2.23, 0.81 mm along vertical, north–south, east–west directions, respectively, confined-aquifer (GCAS). Results indicate that periodic signals both vertical horizontal are consistent with head fluctuations GCAS, but changes components appear much later compared component. inelastic skeletal storativity is computed GPS be as ~12 times greater than elastic value. Moreover, daily hydraulic heads reconstructed well data jointly piezometers. Furthermore, irreversible component groundwater-storage (GWS) variations incorporated dewatering compacted aquitards (~0.62 m3/m2) ~9.5 its recoverable associated aquifer units (0.0655 m3/m2). indicates quantification GWS those aquifers significant subsidence essential for sustainable water resources management.
