摘要: Phthalate esters, now regarded as endocrine disruptors, are widely used in the plastics industry. In particular, di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) is produced large quantities, and blood storage bags, catheters haemodialysis instruments. Previous studies have demonstrated that treatment of rats with DEHP induces testicular atrophy liver enlargement, although precise nature mechanism action on these organs remains unclear. present study, we an experimental model DEHP-induced spermatogenic disturbance by feeding them a DEHP-containing diet. Liver enlargement occurred fed either 1 or 2% However, accompanied aspermatogenesis was induced but not 1% This suggests critical dose for gonadotoxicity higher than hepatotoxicity. Using DEHP-dose, effect simultaneous administration antioxidant vitamins (= C E) next examined. It found vitamin supplementation significantly prevented injury. The results suggest can protect testes from DEHP-toxicity.
