摘要: Neuregulin (also called NDF, heregulin, GGF and ARIA) is a member of the EGF family which induces growth differentiation epithelial, glial muscle cells in culture. The biological effects factor are mediated by tyrosine kinase receptors. can bind directly to erbB3 erbB4 receptor heterodimerization allows neuregulin-dependent activation erbB2 (refs 1, 2, 5). A targeted mutation mice reveals multiple essential roles neuregulin development. Here we show that -/- embryos die during embryogenesis display heart malformations. In addition, Schwann cell precursors cranial ganglia fail develop normally. phenotype demonstrates vivo acts locally frequently paracrine manner. All types affected express either or erbB4, indicating these receptors be component recognition transmission signals.
