摘要: Thrombospondin 1 (TSP1) is a multifunctional extracellular matrix molecule that belongs to family of homologous glycoproteins. TSP1 can be produced by many cell types are involved in wound repair, including keratinocytes, fibroblasts, endothelial cells, and macrophages. To investigate the kinetics synthesis wounds, mRNA from murine full thickness excisional dermal wounds was analyzed. undetectable normal skin but present early wounds. After day 1, levels within slowly decreased, returning undectable 10. In situ hybridization revealed primary source macrophage-like cells inflammatory infiltrate. explore function production sites injury, were treated with antisense oligomers. Antisense-treated contained 55 66% less TSP1-positive macrophages than control exhibited marked delay repair. This included decreased rate re-epithelialization as well reorganization. The results suggest facilitates repair process provide evidence an important component optimal healing.
