摘要: Aim of Study: was to compare both clinically and radiographically between the three-dimensional plates, 2.4 reconstruction plates superior border Champy's single miniplate fixation in treatment mandibular angle fractures. Materials Methods: The study enrolled patients who suffered from fractures, presented outpatient clinic oral maxillofacial surgery department, faculty dentistry, October 6 University as well emergency unit Hospital. Patients were divided into 3 equal groups; Group I where open reduction internal rigid (ORIF) performed by using Dimensional miniplates through an intra-oral approach assisted transbuccal trocar. II ORIF plate extra-oral Risdon approach. III Follow up scheduled 1 week then 1,3 months post-operatively. Intra-operative outcomes included: ease accessibility, adaptation, need for post-operative IMF related complications. Results: Statistical analysis this concluded that (Group I) statistically significant lower infection rate possibility sensory motor nerve affection II) proper occlusion, more segment stability fracture rigidity angular fractures comparison III). Conclusion: 3D demonstrated a advantage over Reconstruction insertion transbuccally avoiding any extraoral cutaneous scars, rates negligible facial affection.
