摘要: We have developed a MEMS power conversion device that combines an axial-flow turbine with axial-flux electromagnetic generator. This can generate electrical when placed in air-stream, and is aimed at applications such as flow sensing generation for remote sensors. Recent experimental performance data are presented prototypes, compared CFD (computational fluid dynamics) simulations. The current devices volume of approximately 0.5 cm/sup 3/, 1 mW output pressure drop 8 mbar rate 35 litres per minute, will operate drops down to few mbar.
