摘要: The antiwear performance of a commercial secondary zinc dialkyldithiophosphate (ZDDP) in base stock was examined over wide range conditions 4-ball machine. Particular attention given to correlating the rate wear with appearance scars. When ZDDP working effectively protection due formation thick glassy films on rubbing surfaces. were transparent, tended form into mounds, composed Zn, P, O, and S, essentially free iron. Optimum required partial EHL conditions, combined bulk frictional temperature between 125-250°C, wearing surfaces sufficient hardness adhesiveness.
