摘要: Abstract A reciprocating wear tester was used to investigated the nature of antiwear boundary lubrication films formed by several ZDDP additives in mineral oil. Under test conditions examined this work, are relatively thick (approximately 0.1 μm), and so can be readily detected optical microscopy. Film formation occurs after only a few centimetres sliding on smooth hard surfaces, whereupon essentialy ceases. On rough film does not take place until surfaces have run-in, again Antiwear did form steel pins softer than Rc 25, which wore an oxidative mechanism. The extent run-in or before as measure effectiveness additive. resistant wear, once they provide sustained protection base However, removed presence hydroperoxides, running against new countersurface.
