摘要: Abstract The addition of antiwear and extreme-pressure agents to lubricants produces protective films on the sliding surfaces. Two most common elements in antiwear/extreme-pressure additives are sulphur phosphorus. These commonly added form Zinc dialkyl dithiophosphate (ZDDP). P S L-edge X-ray absorption near-edge (XANES) spectra several model compounds containing both have been recorded at high resolution, utilizing synchrotron radiation. Using as fingerprints, it has possible speciate nature films. It found that chemical state phosphorus corresponds closely polyphosphates depends alkyl group used ZDDP. Sulphur is present mostly sulphide.
