Differentiation of lymphoid cells: the use of specific antisera to characterize the cells required for the induction of immunoglobulin M production in vitro.

摘要: Anti-immunoglobulin as well anti-thymocyte sera prevented the induction of immunoglobulin M production by rabbit popliteal lymph node cells that ordinarily occurs when such are cultured in vitro, absence added antigen. Antibodies specific for light chains and µ-chains immunoglobulins were inhibitory whereas α- γ-chains without effect. Univalent anti-µ-chain antibody univalent preparations also inhibitory. All antisera effect to cultures after process was completed. Thymidine incorporation studies showed a lack correspondence between activity mitogenicity anti-immunoglobulins.
