摘要: A memory hierarchy has coherence problems as soon one of its levels is split in several independent units which are not equally accessible from faster or processors. The classical solution to these problems, found for instance multiprocessor, multicache systems, restore a degree interdependence between such through set high speed interconnecting buses. This entirely satisfactory, it tends reduce the throughput and increase cost.
