摘要: The responsiveness of peripheral blood lymphocytes from 15 cutaneous leishmaniasis patients and five healthy volunteers to purified surface antigens Leishmania was studied. following were independently used as stimuli for lymphocyte proliferation in vitro: lipophosphoglycan L. braziliensis, (Lb-LPG), mexicana (Lm-LPG), glycoprotein 63 braziliensis (Lb-gp 63) (Lm-gp 63). Among six tested with Lb-gp Lm-gp 63, two borderline responses positive observed, respectively, all the others being negative. Lb-LPG Lm-LPG induced (11 Lm-LPG). A dose-response correlation observed both Lm-LPG. Significant differences (P less than 0.01) found between groups (patients subjects) regard Lb-LPG. proliferating cells after stimulation shown belong CD4+ T cell subset by flow cytometry. However, evidence suggests that not LPG itself but rather protein contaminants preparations: a highly batch had undergone additional purification only three out proteinase K-treated did stimulate any response among same patients.
