摘要: Thiamine (vitamin B1) is an essential nutrient acting mainly as enzymatic cofactor on diverse cell processes. It has been reported that vitamin B1 a significant role in the signaling pathways related to response adverse environmental conditions (chemical and physical). The objectives of this study were evaluate antimutagenic potential front DNA-alkylating agents presence/absence ogt ada repairing genes Salmonella typhimurium strains against damage induced by ultraviolet light type C Escherichia coli mutated at uvrABC system recBCD enzymes. For S. typhimurium, antimutagenesis test (Ames test) was performed using deficient one or both (YG7100 ada-/ogt+, YG7104 ada+/ogt-, YG7108 ada-/ogt-). E. coli, (K-12 derived Hfr H180 uvrB+/recA+, W3110 uvrB+/recA- ATCC®8739 uvrB-/recA+) exposed UV-C different time intervals, with without B1. Our results showed thiamine antimutagen methyl-N-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine ethyl-N-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine only when gene present. While for presence increased survival rate, implying independent
