摘要: The pathogenic implications of hepatitis G virus (HGV) infection are still unclear. We searched for the presence HGV RNA and HCV sequences in liver serum samples from 10 patients with chronic disease, 9 whom were coinfected HCV. All livers negative minus strand only six positive strand, albeit at low levels. In striking contrast, was detectable all nine HCV-positive titers ranging 10(2) to 10(8) genomic eq/microg RNA, present but two these patients. However, positive-strand viruses had similar ranges. These findings imply that is not primary replication site HGV, least population HCV/HGV-coinfected Absence tissue may explain reported lack influence coinfection on course C.
