摘要: Abstract Human adrenomedullin (AM) is a 52-amino acid peptide involved in cardiovascular control. AM has two specific receptors formed by the calcitonin-receptor-like receptor (CRLR) and activity-modifying protein (RAMP) 2 or 3, known as AM1 AM2 receptors, respectively. In addition, appreciable affinity for calcitonin gene-1 related (CGRP1), composed of CRLR/RAMP1. brain, their are expressed several localized areas, including cerebellum. been reported an antioxidant. Little about role regulation cerebellar reactive oxygen species (ROS) metabolism. We assessed effect on three antioxidant enzymes activity: catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase (GPx) superoxide dismutase (SOD) thiobarbituric substances (TBARS) production rat vermis, well subtypes actions. Additionally, we evaluated angiotensin II (ANG II), kinase A (PKA) activity, C/nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate oxidase (PKC/NAD(P)H) (oxidase) pathway. Sprague-Dawley rats were sacrificed decapitation vermis was microdissected under stereomicroscopic CAT, GPx, SOD activity TBARS determined spectrophotometrically. Our findings demonstrated that decreased ANG increased GPx production. Likewise, antagonized II-induced increase enzyme activity. AM(22–50) CGRP(8–37) blunted AM-induced decrease indicating these actions mediated through CGRP1 receptors. Further, PKA inhibitor (PKAi) action apocynin chelerythrine reverted action, suggesting stimulation while PKC/NAD(P)H results support suggest physiological
