摘要: Abstract Objective Medical events such as myocardial infarction and cancer diagnosis can induce symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The optimal treatment PTSD in this context is unknown. Methods A literature search 6 biomedical electronic databases was conducted from database inception to November 2018. Studies were eligible if they used a randomized design evaluated the effect treatments on medical event-induced adults. random effects model pool data when two or more comparable studies available. Results Six trials met full inclusion criteria. ranged size 21 81 patients, included patients with induced by cardiac events, cancer, HIV, multiple sclerosis, stem cell transplantation. All assessed psychological interventions. Two comparing form exposure-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) assessment-only control found that CBT resulted lower [Hedges's g = −0.47, (95% CI -0.82 – −0.12), p = .009]. third trial compared imaginal exposure (another CBT) an attention trend toward reduced symptoms. Three eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR) active (imaginal exposure, conventional CBT, relaxation therapy), EMDR effective. Conclusion may be promising approaches reducing due events. However, additional are needed patient population.
