摘要: Parkinson's disease (PD) is a slowly progressing neurodegenerative with early manifestation of motor signs. Objective measurements signs are vital importance for diagnosing, monitoring and developing modifying therapies, particularly the stages when putative neuroprotective treatments could stop neurodegeneration. Current medical practice has limited tools to routinely monitor PD enough frequency without undue burden patients healthcare system. In this paper, we present data indicating that routine interaction computer keyboards can be used detect in PD. We explore solution measures key hold times (the time required press release key) during normal use any change hardware converts it index. This achieved by automatic discovery patterns series using an ensemble regression algorithm. new approach discriminated groups from controls AUC = 0.81 (n 42/43; mean age 59.0/60.1; women 43%/60%;PD/controls). The performance was comparable or better than two other quantitative tests clinically: alternating finger tapping (AUC 0.75) single 0.61).
