摘要: Abstract Background Severity of PD is usually assessed by means the motor and disability-based Hoehn Yahr staging (HY), or clinician patient global perceptions. Scores more detailed assessments, as MDS-UPDRS, have not been translated to a grading that allows assignment score sections severity levels. The objective present study determine cut-off points for levels based on MDS-UPDRS. Methods International, observational study. Applied assessments were: HY, Clinical Impression Index, Patient Global Severity. coincidence in level (mild, moderate, severe) at least two clinical classifications plus patient's gradation was considered “the criterion severity”. Cut-off values each MDS-UPDRS subscale determined triangulation of: 1) percentile 90 total score; 2) receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis; 3) ordinal logistic regression (OLR) model. Results Sample composed 452 consecutive patients without dementia, 55.3% males, age 65.1 ± 10.7 years duration 8.7 ± 6.3 years. All HY stages were represented. “criterion”, classified 275 (60.8% sample) as: mild PD, 149 (54.2%); 82 (29.8%); severe, 44 (16%). following between mild/moderate moderate/severe found: Part 1: 10/11 21/22; 2: 12/13 29/30; 3: 32/33 58/59; 4: 4/5 12/13. Conclusion classify mild, severe basis their scores are proposed.
