摘要: Gonadal atrophy is the most typical and dramatic manifestation of intraspecific hybrid dysgenesis syndrome leading to sterility in Drosophila melanogaster dysgenic progeny. The P-M system primarily associated with germ cell degeneration during early stages embryonic development at elevated temperatures. In present study, we have defined phase death as beginning end embryogenesis immediately following gonad formation. However, temperature-dependent screening developmental patterns background showed that cells are susceptible any life-cycle stage, including imago. Electron microscopy after induction revealed significant changes subcellular structure, especially mitochondria, prior cellular breakdown. mitochondrial pathology can promote activation pathways cells, which leads gonadal atrophy.
