摘要: Abstract Study of the change induced by heavy ion irradiation in magnetic properties magnetite ceramics Fe 3 O 4 can be important for applications. In this work, we report on effect high electronic excitation lead ions highly densified ceramics. The physical changes have been investigated magnetization measurements and Mossbauer spectroscopy, whereas damage morphology has observed TEM. Variations saturation shown original behaviour versus fluence: starts to decrease at low fluence before recovering its initial value higher fluence. TEM observations presence extended spherical defects wakes. This is very similar that krypton garnet Y 5 12 stopping power, which characterized a small amorphous volume. agreement with observation, recorded below Verwey transition, absence paramagnetic phase. Moreover, spectra exhibited an irradiation-induced anisotropy hyperfine field revealed defect-induced anisotropy. Such result led us hypothesis domain walls could pinned defects, least fluences.
