摘要: There is a need for simple and affordable techniques cytology clinical applications, especially point-of-care (POC) medical diagnostics in resource-poor settings. However, this often requires adapting expensive complex laboratory-based that require significant power are too massive to transport easily. One such technique flow cytometry, which has great potential modification due the simplicity of principle optical tracking cells. it limited regard focusing used isolate cells detection. This inherently reduces rate therefore unsuitable rapid detection rare large volume analysis. To address these limitations, we developed low-cost, mobile cytometer based on streak imaging. In our new configuration utilize webcam over area associated with wide-field cell. The cell capable larger higher throughput fluorescence than hydrodynamic conventional cytometry. an inexpensive, commercially available system, analysis use 1 W 450 nm blue laser excite Syto-9 stained emission at 535 nm. We were able detect low concentrations high rates 10 mL/min, suitable rapidly analyzing specimen volumes appropriate concentration levels. capabilities, combined cost device, suggest POC cytometry settings global health.
