Loss and Gain Measurements of Tensile-Strained Quantum Well Diode Lasers for Plasmonic Devices at Telecom Wavelengths

摘要: We performed an experimental study of tensile strain quantum wells for diode lasers operating at telecom wavelengths and in transverse magnetic polarization. The optical losses ridge waveguide resonators are measured with passive active techniques. results consistent the theory provide a useful material parameter database this kind devices. With aim implementing plasmonic devices we studied effect proximity metal top contact to laser region.
