摘要: The effect of exogenous cytochrome c on respiration rate the rat and human heart mitochondria was assessed in situ, using permeabilized fibers. It (i) much more pronounced State 2 4 than 3 with all respiratory substrates (pyruvate+malate, succinate, palmitoyl-CoA+carnitine octanoyl-L-carnitine), (ii) different substrates, (iii) higher after ischemia both metabolic states, particularly case succinate oxidation compared to pyruvate+malate, (iv) highest as a substrate.
