Intraspecific isozyme variability in Italian populations of the white truffle Tuber magnatum

摘要: Eleven enzymes from 139 specimens of thirteen Italian populations Tuber magnatum were analysed with multilocus horizonfal starch gel electrophoresis. The research was carried out to obtain insight into the genetic variability this species across its geographic range. All gene-enzyme systems scored appear be fixed in homozygosity accordance what is hitherto known genus ; nine seemed monomorphic, whereas two, that MDH-1 and ME-2, showed three alleles each. These results indicated a self-reproductive system low agreement restricted endemism white truffle. distribution electrophoretic types discussed as basis for further molecular applications.
