摘要: SODIUM HEPARIN, because of its anticoagulant and lipid-clearing effects, has gained widespread acceptance for the long-term treatment coronary artery disease. Except bleeding, usually result an excesssive therapeutic action, there have been few side effects reported. A previously unrecognized possible complication heparin therapy is detailed here. patient presented in whom multiple fractures vertebrae ribs occurred last two months a 13-month course with sodium administered subcutaneously. Report Case 41-year-old, married, white executive experienced angina pectoris summer 1963 without clinically or electrocardiographically apparent myocardial infarction. Sodium (Lipo-Hepin) was started October 1963. Each evening he received single deep subcutaneous injection 20,000 units (0.5 cc 40,000 units/cc approximately 200 mg) except 20-day period August 1964, when 280 mg nightly. The only
